MBTA weekend track work on Cross Street starts tonight

MBTA crews will mobilize at 10 p.m. tonight for continuous track and laydown area work on Cross Street, running through 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5. Noise should be similar to past night shifts, possibly quieter because no blasting equipment will be used. Crews will work both at track level and below, moving in and out of the laydown area.
