URI doctoral candidate Rebecca Linhart speaks at the Jenks Center, 109 Skillings Road, from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday on how Motus and satellite tracking are reshaping shorebird conservation. Her talk covers the expansion of the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network in the Bay of Fundy, satellite data revealing trans-Atlantic flight pathways, and new research on the value of small staging sites across the Northeast. The presentation is sponsored by a Cummings Foundation grant.
