Union Point Road Would Open Weymouth Parcels for 2,500+ Homes
Construction is set to begin this fall on a new backbone road at Union Point, the former South Weymouth Naval Air Station, that would open 10 parcels for more than 2,500 homes, Patch reported. The road lies entirely within Weymouth. Over the next decade-plus, Union Point is slated to add thousands more housing units, major commercial space and expanded open space, backed by a $32.4 million state grant for Weymouth's long-term water supply.
