Coastal Flood and High-Wind Warnings Take Effect in Weymouth

The National Weather Service has a high-wind warning in effect for Weymouth until 8 a.m. Sunday, plus a coastal-flood warning and high-surf advisory until 8 p.m. Sunday. Saturday brings showers, possible thunderstorms after 2 p.m., and northeast winds of 25 to 29 mph with gusts as high as 47 mph. Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is possible, and showers and gusty winds continue into Saturday night.
