NWS Flags Late-Week Wind, Coastal-Flood Risks

The National Weather Service office in Norton has posted a High Wind Watch, a Coastal Flood Watch and a High Surf Advisory for Weymouth, warning of possible strong gusts and coastal flooding heading into Friday and Saturday. Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 61 and northeast gusts as high as 30 mph. Friday turns breezy and mostly cloudy, with northeast winds of 17 to 22 mph, gusts up to 39 mph, and a chance of showers.
