MassDOT weighs signal or roundabout at Highland Street
MassDOT is reviewing proposals for a traffic signal or roundabout at the crash-prone Route 20, Boston Post Road and Highland Street intersection. Since 2022, 57 crashes have been reported at the site, which frequently ranks in the top 5% of high-crash locations in eastern Massachusetts. Town officials are eyeing safety remediation as vehicle volumes approach 25,000 cars per day.
