Conservation Commission Addresses Transformer Spill at 0 Summer St.
The Conservation Commission on September 15 reviewed an emergency remediation plan for a July 7 spill of 25 gallons of non-PCB mineral oil from a pole-mounted transformer at 0 Summer St. The oil entered a storm drain and discharged into Dell Brook, a tributary of the Stony Brook Reservoir. Tighe & Bond presented the response plan on behalf of NSTAR.
