Wellesley College Stages Free 'Much Ado About Nothing'
Actors From The London Stage bring Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing' to the Diana Chapman Walsh Alumnae Hall Auditorium at 7 p.m. tonight, the first of three free performances running Sept. 17-19. The touring company, founded in 1975 by Professor Homer Swander and actor Sir Patrick Stewart, stages the full play with five classically trained actors, minimal props and costumes, and each actor in multiple roles. The performances cap a week-long educational residency on campus; organizers ask attendees to RSVP.
