Judge Denies Dismissal in Wellesley Child Murder Case

A Dedham District Court judge on Sept. 10 denied defense attorney Joseph Krowski's motion to dismiss the murder charges against Janette MacAusland, or to release her on bail with conditions; she remains held without bail in the April deaths of her children, Kai, 7, and Ella, 6. What was to have been a probable cause hearing was delayed because prosecutors are still awaiting the official manner and cause of death from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. A prosecutor said she expects that information within a few weeks and hopes to move the case to Norfolk Superior Court.
