Wellesley College Pledges Free Tuition for Families Earning Up to $200,000

Wellesley College announced the "Wellesley Tuition Promise," which starting in fall 2027 will cover full tuition for U.S. students from families earning up to $200,000 with typical assets. The current policy covers families earning up to $150,000. The college's 2026-2027 cost of attendance page lists tuition at $72.6k, with meals, housing and other costs bringing the total to between $90k and $100k.
