Water testing today may lower pressure or discolor water in western Watertown
The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, working with the City of Waltham, is testing water-distribution infrastructure Wednesday, Sept. 30, ahead of a waterline shutdown for the WASM 3 CP2 Rehabilitation Project. Service will not be disrupted, but western Watertown may see discolored water and lower pressure. If water looks discolored, run faucets until it clears, which may take about 10 minutes, before drinking it or using it for dishes or laundry. Pressure issues should resolve after testing.
