What to Know About This Weekend's Nor'easter: Closures and Postponements

A National Weather Service Wind Advisory is in effect from Friday, Sept. 25, at 12:30 p.m. until Sunday, Sept. 27, at 8 a.m., with 1 to 3 inches of rain expected across most of Eastern Massachusetts and several local events pushed to later dates. The City advises residents to stay away from downed wires, avoid damaged trees, clear leaves from nearby catch basins if safe, and not drive across flooded roads. Report power outages to Eversource at 800-592-2000, and call 911 in an emergency.
