Watertown Launches Zero-Waste Composting Program for Festival Vendors

All Food Court vendors at this year's Faire on the Square are taking part in a "Zero-Waste Initiative," a pilot program the city is running in partnership with Resilient Watertown to cut waste through reuse, recycling and composting. Compost bins will sit alongside recycling and trash receptacles throughout the food court and at other spots across the Faire grounds. The requirement took effect Sept. 18.
