Bougie Pizza Co. Set to Replace Pizza Roma on Waverley Avenue
Pizza Roma has closed at 212 Waverley Avenue, and owner David Bourgeois has confirmed plans for a sourdough-crust concept called Bougie Pizza Co. in the roughly 600-square-foot storefront. The fast-casual, counter-service eatery would cap occupancy at 15 guests, including four counter seats, with a menu of Neapolitan-style sourdough pizzas plus sandwiches and salads and a gluten-free crust on request. Private event packages are also planned, starting at $300 for setup plus $20 per person; an opening date has not been set.
