Council discusses Square redevelopment and parking garage options
Sitting as the Redevelopment Authority on Monday, Aug. 10, the City Council held an initial discussion of a draft Demonstration Project plan for the area behind the Square's CVS, between Church, Summer and Mount Auburn streets. The test-fitted options include a centralized multi-story parking garage, a residential building with retail space, and green open space. No votes were taken and no decisions were made at the hybrid meeting, held at the Watertown Free Public Library.
