Waltham Man Indicted on Federal Cyberstalking Charge

Federal prosecutors announced Oct. 1 that John Anthony Proia III, 41, of Waltham was indicted and arrested on one count of cyberstalking. He is accused of making more than 40 harassing calls and messages to a former political adviser and her family. The allegations have not been proven, and he is presumed innocent.
