Water Testing Today May Cause Discoloration in Waltham

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, working with the city, is testing water distribution infrastructure today to prepare for a waterline shutdown for the WASM 3 CP2 Rehabilitation Project. Water service will not be disrupted, but discolored water and lower pressure may occur throughout Waltham and western Watertown. If your water is discolored, run the faucets until it runs clear, which may take about 10 minutes, before drinking it or using it for dishes or laundry.
