Recovery and Remembrance event set for tonight on Wakefield Common
The Town of Wakefield, the Wakefield Police Department and the Wake-Up Coalition invite all to a Recovery and Remembrance event at 6 p.m. tonight on Wakefield Common, celebrating those in recovery from substance-use disorder and remembering loved ones lost to substance misuse and suicide. The evening will feature resources, networking and local speakers. The event marks National Recovery Month, and purple ribbons have been placed on downtown light poles, with remembrance ribbons on the Town Hall lawn.
