Main Street water work resumes with southbound detour
Weather permitting, crews resume water main work on Main Street today. This week's work covers the stretch between Walden Road and Carriage Lane, where on-street parking is restricted from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and southbound traffic will be detoured during work hours, so allow extra time if your commute passes through. The project includes water main replacement, service connection updates, new gates and hydrants, and roadway patching, and questions can go to the Public Works Engineering Division at 781-246-6308.
