Jeep Submerged at Fishermen's Beach During Boat Retrieval

A Jeep was stuck in the surf off Fishermen's Beach for more than an hour Wednesday evening after its owner tried to pull a boat from the water. It became nearly half-submerged as the tide rose, until a tow truck pulled it free. Residents have been encouraged to take their boats out of the harbor before a nor'easter expected to bring coastal flooding, high surf, strong winds and rain from Friday through the weekend.
