Glover Plan Advances With Historic House Preserved

The Planning Board continued its public hearing Monday on the 140-unit Glover estate redevelopment, giving members and town staff more time to review documents submitted as late as that day and letting the developer supply more on traffic, access and drainage. Counsel confirmed the historic General John Glover Farmhouse will be preserved and restored, with 96 of the units on the Swampscott side and 44 in Marblehead. The proposal calls for six apartment buildings, 170 underground and 62 surface parking spaces, a clubhouse and a pool.
