Flood Watch in Effect for Stoneham Through Monday Night
The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton says a Flood Watch covering the Stoneham area remains in effect through late Monday night, as flooding from excessive rainfall continues to be possible. Forecasters expect 2 to 4 inches of rain, with localized totals of 5 to 7 inches that could flood urban areas and small streams. The watch covers much of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including Middlesex County communities.
