Boston Launches Free Flu and COVID Vaccine Clinics

The Boston Public Health Commission will hold 20 free flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics at locations around the city, beginning Sept. 23 and running through early December. No appointment, insurance or ID is required, though residents with a health insurance card are encouraged to bring it. The commission is also offering in-home vaccinations this year to improve access for older adults, and Public Health Commissioner Dr. Bisola Ojikutu urged all residents 6 months and older to get a flu vaccine after last year's severe season.
