MBTA announces September service changes across five lines

The MBTA announced service changes for September on the Orange, Red, Blue, Green, Framingham/Worcester, Needham, New Bedford/Fall River, Greenbush and Kingston lines. The work supports the Ruggles Station Improvements Project, Ashmont branch bridge work, Green Line accessibility upgrades and central tunnel signal modernization, Worcester Line track and signal improvements, and the South Station Signal and Track Improvements Project. Riders can find details at mbta.com/PlannedWork, through in-station signage and announcements, or by subscribing to T-Alerts; staff and Transit Ambassadors will be on site during the changes.
