Green Line Shut Down Between Government Center and Babcock, Aug. 8–16

Starting today, Green Line service is suspended for nine days between Government Center and Babcock Street on the B branch, Government Center and Cleveland Circle on the C, North Station and Kenmore on the D, and North Station and Heath Street on the E. The MBTA is using the closure for critical signal upgrades in the century-old central tunnel and for the C Branch Accessibility Improvements Project. Free shuttle buses will replace trains through August 16.
