Mass General Brigham leases 100,000 sq ft at 74M

Top story

Mass General Brigham leases 100,000 sq ft at 74 Middlesex Ave.

Mass General Brigham has signed a long-term lease for 100,000 square feet of lab space on the lower floors of the 74M building at 74 Middlesex Ave. in Assembly Square, developer and property manager Greystar announced Thursday. The space will consolidate the health system's pathology laboratory services and takes up more than 20 percent of the 15-story building's lab and office space, with rights to expand and extend its occupancy. The deal follows last month's news that TransMedics Group has begun a $56 million buildout on its Assembly Square building, and it comes as the local lab market has an estimated 14 million square feet of supply available.
