City Launches 'Neighborhood Connect' Series Across All Seven Wards

The city launched its 2026 'Neighborhood Connect' series on September 21, replacing the former City Hall Community Meetings with sessions in each of Somerville's seven wards. Instead of formal presentations, the new science-fair format has city staff at tables for one-on-one and small group conversations, after brief citywide updates and a welcome from Mayor Jake Wilson and the ward councilor. Meetings still open with a social half-hour with free pizza and snacks; the Ward 4 session is Wednesday, September 23, at the Healey School cafeteria, 5 Meacham St.
