Humarock Seawall Shifts, Debris Covers Roads After Nor'easter

Waves from the weekend nor'easter shifted a Humarock Beach seawall about two feet from its foundation and pushed rocks and a staircase onto Central Avenue. Town Administrator Jim Boudreau said the homeowner has a structural engineer coming to assess the wall, and the town's Inspectional Services staff have already been out to look at it. Cleanup continued Monday, with some streets covered in water, debris and sea foam.
