Two Decomposed Bodies Found in Tent Near Broadway
Saugus police received a call Sunday, Sept. 20, reporting what appeared to be a body inside a tent on Broadway (Route 1) and found two bodies in a state of decomposition, Essex District Attorney Paul F. Tucker's office said Friday. Because of the significant decomposition, no preliminary determination was made on cause and manner of death, and the address was not released. Saugus police, state police assigned to Tucker's office and the state medical examiner's office are investigating.
