Roxbury Black Wall Street history conference begins at Shaw Library

The free two-day Roxbury Black Wall Street 1900–1965 conference opens today at the Shaw-Roxbury Branch Library, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Historians, researchers, community leaders, and descendants will explore the interconnected history of Black excellence, entrepreneurship, and culture across Roxbury, Tulsa, and Oak Bluffs. Seating is limited, and RSVP is encouraged.

A man told CBS Boston he was stabbed after confronting a passenger who was allegedly harassing an older woman near Humboldt Avenue and Seaver Street. He said Transit Police were charging him after the confrontation.
