NWS Issues High Wind Watch for Boston Ahead of Nor'easter
The National Weather Service issued a high wind watch Wednesday for the entire Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastline ahead of an early fall nor'easter that could arrive Saturday. Forecasters say gusts of 40-45 mph could bring down large branches onto power lines and disrupt power, because trees are still fully leaved and topple more easily this time of year.
