Rezoning Feedback Positive for Roslindale, West Roxbury
A Boston Planning Department report released Sept. 17 found residents generally support the preliminary rezoning proposals for Roslindale, West Roxbury and Hyde Park. More than 67 people attended a Sept. 15 virtual meeting on the Neighborhood Housing Zoning Initiative, where planners said the goal is to align outdated zoning rules with what is already built and to allow accessory dwelling units, additions and new construction without a trip to the Zoning Board of Appeal. The public comment period runs through Oct. 31.
