MBTA Completes Orange Line Signal Upgrades Near Forest Hills
The MBTA said Tuesday it completed signal modernization work at the Forest Hills yard and along the Orange Line corridor, plus accessibility upgrades tied to the Ruggles Station Improvements Project. Crews worked during five days of nonstop track access between Forest Hills and Back Bay. General Manager Phillip Eng said the uninterrupted access let crews maximize productivity and is aimed at improving long-term Orange Line reliability.
