Wonderland eminent-domain case settles for $16.5M, clearing path for new Revere High School

The City of Revere announced a $16.5 million settlement on September 16, ending over three years of eminent-domain litigation over the former Wonderland Greyhound Park. The settlement, less than 40% of the former owner's $117 million demand, clears the way for construction of the new Revere High School. The city will pay the additional amount from funds already budgeted for the school project.
