John Street Paving Today May Bring Detours and Closures

Lazaro Paving Corp. begins paving the top course on John Street at 7 a.m. today, weather permitting, and expects to finish in one day; delays, detours and road closures should be expected. All on-street parking in the work zone is prohibited and will be strictly enforced by Reading Police, so residents who need their vehicles should move them to a street outside the area. If today is your trash day, have trash and recycling at the curb by 6:30 a.m. Questions go to the Engineering Division at 781-942-9082.
