Homecoming Parade and Bonfire Set for Tonight
The Homecoming Parade steps off at 6 p.m. from the old Central School site and travels Jefferson Avenue, W. Benson Street, Market Street, Pleasant Street and West Street to Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Reading Marching Band, cheerleaders, fall sports teams, and Reading Youth Football and Cheer are among the marchers. A community bonfire follows at Bemmes Field around 7 p.m., with games, activities and food for sale.
