Reading Police Respond to Death Near Walkers Brook Drive
Reading police and first responders were dispatched to 70 Walkers Brook Drive at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday after a U.S. Postal Service worker in the area reported a person with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The person was declared dead at the scene, and police said the incident is being investigated as an apparent suicide. Police said there is no danger to the public, though the community was advised to avoid the area Tuesday afternoon.
