Survey: 74% oppose November CPA ballot question
The second Reading Recap reader survey closed Wednesday night with 280 responses to a single question about the proposed 1% Community Preservation Act tax surcharge on the November 3rd ballot: 208 respondents (74%) said No, 47 (17%) said Yes and 25 (9%) were undecided. The results are unscientific, since respondents chose to take part and no names or accounts were collected. Opposition ran higher than on the $6.5 million override survey, which closed September 1st with 59% of 570 respondents saying No, 23% Yes and 18% undecided.
