Library Helps Residents Register to Vote
The Reading Public Library partnered with Town Clerk Laura Gemme today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 64 Middlesex Ave. to register residents to vote or check their registration status, ahead of the 2026 state and local elections. The state's voter registration deadline is Oct. 24, and vote-by-mail applications are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 27. Early voting runs Oct. 17-30, with Election Day polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
