Quincy Courthouse Demolition Set for Late October or Early November

State officials said Sept. 18 that demolition of the Francis X. Bellotti Courthouse on Dennis Ryan Parkway will begin in late October or early November, making way for the $187 million Quincy Justice Center. Court operations will move temporarily to a vacant office building at the Crown Colony Office Park in West Quincy during construction. The new center will house the District Court, juvenile court and housing court, with jury rooms, district attorney offices and a court service center, and is slated for completion in spring 2030.
