Massachusetts officials warn that a weekend nor'easter could bring 2–6 inches of rain to eastern Massachusetts, with sustained winds of 30–40 mph and gusts up to 60 mph on the coast. Leaves still on the trees may cause downed limbs and scattered power outages, and drivers should expect slow travel and possible road closures.
