Cambridge drought level falls to mild, but reservoir remains low

Cambridge’s drought status was downgraded from significant to mild on September 22, but the Hobbs Brook reservoir remains well below normal. If dry conditions persist, the city may need to purchase supplemental water from the MWRA. Nonessential outdoor water restrictions remain in place under Level 1.
