Cambridge Activates Satellite Ballot Drop Boxes for State Primary

The Election Commission's five satellite 24-hour ballot drop boxes opened Aug. 10 for the Sept. 1 State Primary, at City Hall, the Morse School, Police Headquarters, the Maria L. Baldwin School and the O'Neill Library on Rindge Avenue. The satellite boxes close Aug. 31 at 8 p.m. and will not be available on Election Day, when only the main box at 689 Massachusetts Ave. will be open, until 8 p.m. Voters must seal their ballot in the yellow jurat envelope and sign the affirmation before dropping it off.
