Free Public Swim Days Continue Today Amid Heat Advisory

Because of the regional heat advisory, Family Swim and Adult Lap Swim are free to Cambridge residents today, Aug. 7, after also being free on Thursday, Aug. 6. The sessions are held at the War Memorial Recreation Center, which has three ADA-compliant pools staffed by Red Cross-certified lifeguards. Residents should note the center will be closed Saturday, Aug. 15 through Monday, Aug. 31, reopening Sept. 1.
