Planning Board, Ordinance Committee oppose Doug Brown zoning petition
The Planning Board voted unanimously July 14 and the Ordinance Committee voted 7-2 on July 21 to send negative recommendations on Doug Brown's citizen zoning petition, which would set new height maximums undercutting the Affordable Housing Overlay and Multifamily Housing Ordinance. The city council meets August 3, when it will likely officially reject the petition. Councillors Tim Flaherty and Cathie Zusy were the only Ordinance Committee members voting against the negative recommendation.
