Red Line shutdown between Alewife and Park St. continues through July 30

Red Line service has been suspended between Alewife and Park Street since July 21 for a 10-day infrastructure overhaul that continues through July 30. Free, accessible shuttle buses replace service and make all stops between the two stations, and Commuter Rail is fare-free between Porter Square and North Station during the closure. The City expects heavy travel delays regionwide and urges residents to plan ahead and allow extra time.
