Coastal Flood, High-Surf Warnings Continue Through Sunday
The National Weather Service's Coastal Flood Warning and High Surf Advisory for Peabody remain in effect through 8 p.m. Sunday, with a Flood Watch continuing through 2 a.m. Tuesday; the High Wind Warning expired at 8 a.m. Sunday. Sunday's forecast calls for showers, with thunderstorms possible after 11 a.m. that could produce heavy rainfall, 2 to 3 cm of new rain, and northeast wind gusts as high as 65 km/h. Heavy rain is expected to continue Sunday night, with showers on Monday.
