High Wind Warning Covers Peabody Through Sunday Morning

The National Weather Service has extended a High Wind Warning for Peabody and much of eastern Massachusetts until 8 a.m. Sunday, with northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts up to 60 mph. Forecasters warn the winds will bring down trees and power lines, power outages are expected, and travel will be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Residents are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged.
