Peabody Trust Claims $25 Million Lottery Prize
The Carrow Road Trust has claimed the second $25 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery's "$25,000,000 Mega Money" instant ticket game, according to a lottery announcement issued Thursday. Trustee Donald MacDonald, representing the trust, took the winnings as a one-time payment of $16.25 million before taxes. The ticket was bought at the 7-Eleven at 78 Franklin St. in Quincy, which receives a $50,000 selling bonus; one grand prize in the game remains unclaimed.
