Nor'easter topples tree onto Mountfort Street home

A large tree fell onto power lines and landed against a house on Mountfort Street around 8 p.m. Saturday during the nor'easter, damaging the homeowner's car in the driveway and knocking out power to dozens of nearby homes. No injuries were reported. "It was scary that such a big tree could fall. I'm just glad nobody got hurt," one resident said, and a neighbor said they plan to hire people to check their own trees.
